Gulsanam is as a psychologist, therapist and coach working with adults, teenagers and children. She provides individual, group, couple and family counseling to her clients. In her practice, she most often deals with topics such as post-traumatic stress disorder, depression or panic disorder. She also specializes in somatic problems, behavioral and emotional disorders, and professional and career development. Her counseling is based on a client-oriented cognitive-behavioral approach (CBT), which also includes assessment or diagnosis of problems and setting goals to minimize negative factors that affect the client's life. Gulsanam supports her clients to cope with various life challenges to develop their own resilience. She consults in Uzbek, Russian and English.
Gulsanam graduated in Philology and also received her Master's Degree in Psychology. She received certifications in Family Counseling, Mediation, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy and Critical Thinking. She also expands her education through other courses and workshops focused on ART therapy, trauma therapy, social emotional intelligence and others. She has been working as a psychologist since 1998 and is a member of ILA (International Literacy Association) and CIES (Comparative and International Education Society).
