Katarína is a psychologist with experience in individual and couple counseling. She counsels adult clients and teenagers, whom she helps mainly in the following areas: anxiety disorders, depression, memory disorders, adaptation disorders, family conflicts, burnout syndrome, work overload, couples’ conflicts, family and interpersonal relationships. In the consulting relationship with the client, it is important for her to create an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect for the client's experience. She consults in Slovak and English.
Katarína received her Master's Degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Pavel Jozef Šafárik in Košice. She is finishing specialization studies in the field of Clinical Psychology and is in long-term psychotherapy certification in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the Brno Institute of Psychotherapy. She also completed certification in Relationship Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents. She has her counseling private practice since 2015, before which she worked at the Family Center in Istebné, then at the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services in the state administration, and is currently employed at a neurological clinic. She is a member of the Slovak Chamber of Psychologists.
