Barbara is a coach, counselor and psychologist, working with children from pre-school age and with adult clients. In counseling, one of the main challenges her clients face is finding a balance between career and personal life. She supports them to establish healthy boundaries between the two worlds, plan and use their time more effectively, face the demands of work performance and at the same time be good spouses, parents and be authentic selves. She also helps her clients with interpersonal relationships and emotionality in personal and professional life. She provides support to men and women who have been through a breakup, are looking for tools to manage stress and anger, and through counseling can find their own resources for personal development. In her practice, Barbara uses the methodology of Dr. Sindelar, complex Sandplaying training, FIE method in diagnosis, counseling and therapy. She consults in the Slovak language.
From 2021 Barbara is completing a long-term psychotherapy training in Process-Oriented Psychotherapy. She has been accompanying and supporting her clients since 2008, and lifelong learning allows her to develop her professional abilities and skills. In counseling and prevention, she conducted professional training for parents in the field of children with hyperactivity, behavioral and learning disorders, and diagnosis of developmental learning disorders. She provided intervention and prevention in high schools, where she focused mainly on supporting the healthy social and emotional development of young people. She also dealt with topics such as bullying, risky behavior, solving conflict situations, effective learning, developing communication skills and promoting empathy.
