Monika has been working as psychotherapist and counselor since 2019 and provides individual, couple and family therapy. She most often helps clients in the areas of trauma, abuse, domestic violence, relationships, parenting, anxiety and depression, stress, grief, existential problems, eating disorders etc. She also provides professional support and advice for caring for sick loved ones, support for survivors and victims of violent crimes. She creates confidential environment and offers a systemic solution-focused psychotherapeutic approach. She believes that every person experiences worry and suffering differently, and therefore creates a safe space in which she supports her clients at their own pace. Cooperation is developed on the basis of client's needs, their willingness and an authentic human relationship. She helps to awaken hope and start the necessary changes for a more satisfied life. She focuses on the process and maturation on an individual and relational level, or accompaniment in a stressful period of life. She consults in the Czech language.
Monika studied social work at the University of Hradec Králové and the Danubius University. She completed several therapy courses such as Crisis Intervention, Work with Trauma, Work with People at Risk of Domestic and Sexual Violence, Counseling for Survivors especially after a sudden loss, Caring for People with Dementia and their Close Family, etc. She completed the Pathway of Systemic Therapy Training and the accredited Bereavement Counselor Training. She is a member of the Czech Association of Psychotherapy, the Association of Bereaved Counselors, and the Professional Chamber of Social Workers.
