Alžběta received her Master’s Degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Arts of the Palacky University in Olomouc. She completed the long-term psychotherapeutic training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and other trainings, such as Performance Tuning Coaching in Education, Counseling in the Health Sector, School and an Extraordinary Event, Counseling in a Classroom, Leading Groups for Children with ADHD, How to Recognize an Exceptionally Gifted Child and their Needs, Issues in the field of School Educational Activities, Rights and Obligations of the School, Parents, Children, Pupils, and others.

 

She worked as a volunteer in the Maltese Aid, where she helped children from disadvantaged backgrounds, disabled people and the elderly, as well as a volunteer in the Internet Counseling Center iPoradna.

 

During her university studies, she started working at the Regional Pedagogical-Psychological Counseling Center in Zlín, then she worked as a school psychologist at the Elementary School in Otrokovice, and at the same time she opened her private practice, where she currently provides counseling. In addition, she is also a seminar lecturer.

 

Alžběta is dedicated to therapeutic work with children from the age of 8, teenagers and adults who find themselves in a challenging life situation. She most often provides counseling in the area of educational difficulties, low self-esteem, anxiety or burnout and subsequent self-care. She bases her counseling on the principles of CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy), which is short-term and structured solution-focused therapy focused on achieving specific, predefined goals, where the therapeutic relationship is based on open and active cooperation.
