Ivana Jurčíková

Ivana is a clinical psychologist who works with children, youth and adults. She helps clients with various issues in interpersonal relations and communication. She also provides counseling in the areas of: fear, anxiety, grief, rapid mood swings, addictions, depression, phobias, psychosomatic problems and other areas affecting the life quality. In her approach to the client, her priority is to create a safe and confidential theraupeutic relationship and she follows the "here and now" concept. Ivana consults in the Slovak language.

She received her Master’s Degree in Psychology from the Cyril and Methodius University in Trnava, where she also received a second degree in Education. After graduating from the university, she worked in the outpatient clinic of the Clinical and Traffic Psychology until opening her private practice. She is completing her long-term psychotherapy training in Gestalt Therapy, as well as Play and Filial Therapy focused on working with parents and children. 

In addition to counseling, she continuously develops in many trainings and courses, such as Hypnosis, Autogenic Training, Rorschach Method, Projective Techniques such as Hand Test and Figure Drawing. She is a member of the Slovak Chamber of Psychologists, the Slovak Psychotherapeutic Society and the Association of Clinical Psychologists of Slovakia.
