Terézia is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist for children and parents, adolescents, adults and couples. She deals with various issues that affect the quality of life, such as difficult life situations, conflicts, fear, anxiety, sadness, depression, consequences of torture and abuse, problems in interpersonal relationships and communication, stress management, family in divorce, problems in education, addiction to alcohol, drugs and gambling, etc. In counseling, she uses Gestalt cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy and other modern methods which are effective in solving a wide range of stressful situations and mental problems and help clients achieve positive changes in their lives. She consults in Slovak.
Terézia received her Master’s Degree in Psychology at the Cyril and Methodius University in Trnava. After graduation she worked as a psychologist at the Center for Children and Families in Púchov. Later she started working in a private clinic, where she obtained a certificate in clinical psychology at the Slovak Medical University in Bratislava. In 2018 - 2022, she completed long-term psychotherapy training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. She continues to further her education in psychotherapy and psychodiagnostics. She is currently enrolled in Play and Filial therapy training. She received several short-term trainings, seminars and courses that focused on children and adults (Systemic Interviewing, Diagnostic Relational Bonding, Aggression and Aggressiveness in preschool and younger school age, Hypnosis, Autogenic Training, Rorschach Method, Projective Techniques such as Hand Test, Figure Drawing, etc.). She is a member of the Slovak Chamber of Psychologists, the Slovak Psychotherapeutic Society and the Association of Clinical Psychologists of Slovakia.
