Tereza is a psychologist who emphasizes the creation of a safe and confidential space in her counseling practice. It is mainly based on the starting points of a systemic approach, but in case of need and interest of the client, it is also inspired by other therapeutic directions. Clients turn to her in various life situations, for example regarding partner or family relationships, parenting, domestic violence, emotional life changes, losses, blocks from childhood, sadness, burnout, but also regarding personal development or working with stress. She consults in the Czech language.
Tereza completed her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and Social Policy at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague and also a Bachelor's Degree in Family and Couples Counseling at the Louvain-La-Neuve University of Applied Sciences in Belgium. She received her Master's Degree at the Free University in Brussels, in the field of Sociology with a focus on Social Care and Cultural Diversity. She is also a graduate of long-term psychotherapeutic training in Systemic and Family Psychotherapy, training in Adult Education, as well as training in Psychological Trauma and Victimology (working with victims) and other courses and seminars, for example Psychosocial Intervention and Prevention in the field of Domestic Violence, Basics of Sex Education at Elementary and Secondary schools. She has work experience as a field social worker, especially with women of sub-Saharan African origin, and as a psychosocial worker in family counseling, where she became familiar with primary prevention in primary and secondary schools and with issues of domestic violence, bullying and abuse. She also completed a three-year internship in police assistance to victims of crimes. She is a member of the Czech Association for Psychotherapy and works under supervision.
