Terézia is a clinical psychologist and certified psychotherapist. She has been counseling since 2012 and has an extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adult clients. Her approach is integrative, focused on the client's needs, while emphasizing the safe therapeutic relationship. She has experience in dealing with a various topics, including relationship problems, anxiety and depression, personality disorders, self-development, difficult life events and general dissatisfaction. She consults in the Slovak language.
Terézia worked professionally in a children's home, then in the center of special pedagogical counseling and at the Psychiatric Department of the Faculty Hospital with Polyclinic in Žilina. Currently, she mainly works with adult clients, runs a private practice and works under supervision. She completed her Master's degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Arts of the Masaryk University in Brno and is continuing her education. She is a graduate of long-term psychotherapeutic training in integration in psychotherapy, training in psychotraumatology and EMDR, as well as several seminars, courses and workshops, including training of Clinical Psychology, course in the Rorschach method, and training in the diagnosis and therapy of dissociative disorders.
