Kristína is a psychologist and therapist that is engaged in online counseling and runs a psychology department in spas focused on the treatment of people with mental illness, where she provides individual consultations, group therapies, training in relaxation techniques and education. Kristína has experience with a wide range of topics, including anxiety, depression, aggression, and relationship and family problems. She uses a solution-oriented approach combined with relaxation techniques, or psychohygiene guidance. She works with clients of all ages. She provides consultations in Slovak and Czech.

Kristína completed her Master's degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prešov. She is also a graduate of a 5-year specialization course in clinical psychology at the Institute of Postgraduate Education in Health Care in Prague, as well as a long-term psychotherapeutic training in solution-oriented therapy (Institute Dalet, Olomouc). She is continuously educated and participates in various courses and seminars, including a two-year training in play therapy or courses regarding progressive muscle relaxation, treatment of burnout syndrome, or the Rorschach method. She is an active participant in conferences and lectures (e.g. Socio-emotional development in children, Psychodiagnostic methods in child clinical psychology, Relaxation techniques in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, Treatment of the wounded soul in spas, etc.) 

She gained her first experience with clients during her studies as a volunteer in a psychiatric hospital and in organizations helping youth, disabled people and women experiencing domestic violence. She also worked in a complex care center focused on children with various types of psychological problems, mainly with neurodevelopmental disorders (autism, ADHD, developmental dysphasia), where she dealt with the diagnosis of children from toddler age to adulthood, their therapy and family counseling.
