Zuzana graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Arts of the Catholic University in Ružomberok and her Master's Degree at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health at the University of Konstantin Philosopher in Nitra. During her studies and shortly after her graduation, she worked in an employment agency as a recruiter. Later, she moved professionally to the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services and mainly devoted herself to couples and family counseling. Since 2020, she has been working in the non-profit organization Trojlístok and specializes in working with people whose lives are complicated by addiction and addictive behavior, as well as with their loved ones. As part of her work in the organization, she provides counseling to individuals, families and groups, implements and creates preventive and developmental activities for schools and selected institutions of institutional care, and teaches as a certified lecturer. She completed training in Relaxation and Symbolic Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviews, Crisis Intervention, as well as further education in counseling and psycho-diagnostics. Currently, she is finishing the long-term psychotherapeutic training at the Czech Institute Person-Centered Approach Psychotherapy in Brno. In counseling, Zuzana works with adolescent and adult clients, various difficulties related to addictive behavior, substance and non-substance addictions, digital and social media addictions, self-harm, eating disorders, learning problems, relationship problems, difficulties associated with stress, mood disorders, anxiety states, panic attacks, coping with difficult life situations and personal development. She consults in the Slovak language.
