Kateřina received her Master’s Degree in in Psychology at the Palacký University in Olomouc and in Social Work at the University of Ostrava. She has completed the long-term accredited psychotherapy training Virgina Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy. She completed a three-year program in Transactional Analysis, and other self-development courses, such as the Crisis Intervention; Individual Guidance of a Child with the Book of Life Method; Fairy Tales in Psychotherapy; Working with Families with Broken Relationships; Trauma and Dissociation; Shared Parenting and Child Participation. Kateřina works as a counselor at the Counseling and Mediation Center in Ostrava, as a facilitator of children's support groups, cooperates with an organization accompanying foster families, and also works with women after childbirth. In the past, Kateřina lectured family issues and facilitated self-help groups. Her work is regularly supervised by Mgr. Kamila Pospíšková. Kateřina works with individuals, couples and families. She helps clients cope with difficult situations that affect their psychological experience or relationships. She also works with clients who, for various reasons, feel psychologically unwell, which affects their perception of their own self-esteem. Kateřina believes that each of us has the resources and strength within us for the ability to grow and develop, helps clients get back in touch with their resources and use them for their growth. She consults in the Czech language.
