Viera provides counseling and psychotherapy to both individuals and couples, works with children and family systems, and draws from the Kids' Skills Training for working with children and families. Most often, clients turn to her for problems with anxiety, partner problems, work stress, feelings of emptiness and low self-esteem. In 2022, she founded the Almost Anonymous Dieters Group, focused on improving the relationship with one's own body and food. She consults in Czech and Slovak language.

Viera received her Master’s Degree in Psychology from the Masaryk University in Brno and completed the comprehensive psychotherapy training in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She worked as the prison psychologist at the Counseling Services Center, then at the Hand in Hand Society with drug users who went to prison as a result of their addiction, and with drug addicts after being released from prison. She worked with families and children addicted to or experimenting with drugs at the Prevention Center of the Hand in Hand Society. At Centrum Platan, she worked with people with a wide spectrum of mental illnesses. However, she draws most of her experience from her own psychological practice, which she has been developing in Brno since 2015. In addition to psychotherapy, she also teaches psychology at the Higher Vocational School of the Evangelical Academy in Brno. She is a member of the Czech Association for Psychotherapy.
